during the recording, the audio wave is shown, along with the type of audio that is detected.

After using Google’s new recorder app, you will never want a different voice-memo-app. It is true. Instead of just recording the audio of a lecture or interview, as well as all the other apps do, the recorder transmits what he hears, in real time — on the device, without sending information to Google. In fact, it requires no data connection at all.

you can check your transcription, as it is created, or go back and search for or enter the file with a classmates or colleagues. Or if you are not on a Pixel-by-phone, but know someone who is not, let them know about the app. It will not only help you, but it could help you, if you share the transcription with you.

It is a shame that Google is the limit of the Recorder-app to its Pixel mobile phones for now, but I hope that changes in the near future. But the good news is that Google-Recorder-Pixel-phones-beyond-the-Pixel-4. This gives me the hope that the recorder app might be coming to other phones in the future.

Now playing:
look at this:

Pixels 4 and 4 XL have Super-cameras, but high prices

<, h2> do you need a Pixel-cell-phone — for now

Right now, the recorder app is available for the Google-Pixel-2, Pixel-2, XL , Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel-3A, Pixel-3A-XL, Pixel 4 and Pixel-4 XL. In the past, Google has used the Pixel line, to test new features before a wider Version, and we can only hope that this means that the recorder will eventually come to all Android devices.

one of those Pixel phones? Download and install the Recorder app from the Play Store.

A recording and a transcript

you can view the audio wave or transcript, as it records.

After the recorder is installed on your pixels-mobile phone, you can use it just like any other voice, the notes or memo app: Open the app, tap the record button, and let it absorb.

As it is recording, you see, sound waves scrolling across the screen. On the bottom you can see the pause button, together with an Audio-option (already selected), and a transcript. If you tap Transcript, you can watch the recording to populate in real time, complete with punctuation.

transcribe the app, which can come in handy if you hear someone with an accent, or if you just want to check the spelling of a word, as she notes. It is fascinating to watch.

as soon As you are finished recording, tap the button to pause. You can then give the recording a title and a location, and either continue or save. There is also the possibility to delete it.

Search and share your audio-recording with just a few clicks.

testing and sharing your recordings

The best tip I can give is to use the you is for checking your recordings the search tool. Located at the top of the main window, a search box, the, when, is search all of the recordings that are stored on your device and then highlight each recording and the specific section where the word or phrase is used.

It is extremely handy to find if you try a specific topic, a lecture or a quote from an interview. It is also helpful if (like me) to get into the habit of naming your images. Not though as I do. Get in the habit of naming your images before you save them. It is a simple task, down will save you time and headaches on the road.

If you are a recording, you get the option to only audio, only text-file, or both. As soon as you do not share the recording, the receiver will be able to make use of the search features, of course, or access to all the files on your computer, but it is a handy way to share content.

With a Google Pixel mobile phones has its own advantages, outside of the Recorder app. It is a Live Caption feature is impressive cool. Google Call Screen will help you manage incoming calls from lawyers or robocalls. To read if you are new to the Pixel lineup by the Pixel 4, sure, the best hidden features that we could find. by some.

The real-time transcript is the coolest feature for the voice memo app I have ever used.
