Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 768 G processor boost midrange-phones – CNET


Qualcomm, the new Snapdragon processor-768 G looks a step for midtier devices. 


Qualcomm has a new processor that should give you a performance boost for some nonflagship phones. On Monday, the chipmaker its latest chip, the Snapdragon was 768 G, which should deliver a better performance on midrange phones. 

The company says that the new chip has a 2.8 GHz clock frequency compared to the 2.4 GHz speed found on last year’s Snapdragon 765G, offer “up to 15% performance improvement,” the the older chip. 

As for the 765G, in the processor integrated Qualcomm X52 modem, and the development of the low is in the position-band, mid-band and mm-wave 5G. Max download speeds of about 5G LTE 3.7 gigabits per second and 1.2 GB / s over 4G. 

Also noteworthy is the support for displays with a smooth 120-Hz refresh rate, a trend that has become increasingly popular in the year 2020.
