Mouse support for the iPad? Apple launches iOS and iPadOS 13.4

Apple iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 update brings new features to your existing iPhone and iPad, and chief among the perks is improved mouse and keyboard support.

All iPad-compatible with iPadOS 13.4 will be able to use a mouse with a real pointer icon on the screen. Yes, Apple is a demonstration of mouse support with the iPad Pro 2020, together with its “floating” Magic keyboard peripheral, but it is not limited to the new iPad.

In addition, iPadOS 13.4 mouse support works even with third-party bluetooth and USB keyboards and mice, not only the highlighted, Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad.

And all current Apple software updates, including iOS, 13.4, and macOS 10.15.4, bring long-awaited iCloud folder sharing from within the app “files”. With the sharing controls to access either only to accounts that have been invited, explicitly or someone with a link, as well as the changes can make.

the Purchase of apps for iOS, iPadOS, macOS and tvOS should be easier in the future, as the new suite of software to introduce updates that so-called Universal Buy. This allows the app to bundle developers and apps across multiple platforms.

It’s not all the productivity tools and file-changes to the configuration. iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 you also fun, with nine new Memoji sticker, fresh attitudes in the form of their Cartoon-Apple-persona.

Other iOS-13.4 updates are a little superficial: making answers/delete/compose controls always visible in the Mail app, the encryption of E-Mail replies automatically (just don’t forget to set up S/MIME first), and, finally, lending Apple-CarPlay-support for third-party navigation apps (read: Google Maps and Waze).

And then there are a number of Updates to existing iOS 13 problems – but it is not yet clear whether Apple was able to successfully fix that Hotspot-problem, we have since the meeting.
