iPhone 12, rumors: delays could push the Start of October

reports on what is to come in the year 2020, iPhones on the wire. We have selected, the noteworthy ones here, but take this with a large grain of salt. Even if these reports are accurate representations of what the suppliers say, or it can come from moles within Apple itself, the company’s plans can and must change. October start may be confirmed

After conflicting rumors about delays in the production, Wall Street Journal reported that the iPhone 12 will in fact be later than usual this year. Controversial 5G iPhone release schedule

If there’s one thing we are sure of the the iPhone 12, it is that the packaging is a 5G modem. The next-gen network is much more stable than it was at the end of 2019, and the next iPhone will be ready for you.

Kuo expects 5G support in the iPhone models will vary depending on your region/country. Some would only sub-6GHz-support, other sub-6GHz -, and mmWave, and some of the countries where the carriers do not offer significant 5G support could disable the feature completely.

While the millimeter-wave networks are much faster than their sub-6GHz counterparts, mmWave is also extremely limited. Verizon leads the way with about two dozen cities, but the coverage is very is limited, with some areas barely, by about a block or two. 

As it stands, 5G has rollout a very confusing, and it Apple would be to simplify things for the consumer. Selling an iPhone 5G but promising an iPhone with better 5G a couple of months later not to do.
