Install a Nest doorbell…How do I find my transformer voltage?
I Freight by using a $5 multimeter from Harbor. If you touch one meter lead to the upper or lower screw and the other lead to the screw in the middle, the voltage should tell you. It is also listed on the transformer itself, but in my case, the term voltage value and the actual result of were totally. (He said, 10v, was doomed to failure, as the output of 15.7 v. Probably.) So don’t always trust the label.
Oh, and FIY, volt-ampere (VA) is just as important as the voltage. For my Installation, my volts were good, but it needs more power.
