Huawei Mate 40: what we want to see,
The Huawei Mate 40 and Huawei Mate 40 Pro Huawei, the two best phones of the year 2020, but many of the questions that surround it. Not only the usual questions of specifications and features, but also whether they run Android, and if you then also share in much of the world.
We have no concrete answers at all, but we can speculate, and as the news and rumors update start to roll in we you. The Huawei P40 start – this is probably the beginning of 2020 – can give us a clearer answer to this question.
In the meantime, you can also find our wish list below for what we want, from the Mate-40 range – it starts with full Android, but there is much more that we want to see.
to the point
- What is it? The successor of the Huawei Mate 30
- what time is it? the end of 2020,
- What is it? what other flagship phones costs
Huawei Mate 40 release date and price
The Huawei Mate 30 and the Huawei Mate 30 Pro were announced on September 19, 2019, while the Huawei Mate landed 20 series in October 2018. So there is no release date, rumours and yet we can’t narrow it down to the Start on a certain day, or a week, but the Mate-40 area is likely to land in September or October for the year 2020.
But this is not, necessarily, when you will be able to buy them. In fact, you may not be able to purchase them at all, because due to the Huawei ban on the availability of the Mate-30-the field is unclear at the time of writing, the US did not get, but also in the likes of the UK and Australia, there are no confirmed availability now. This may also be the case for Huawei Mate-40 range.
As for the price, for now we can only take a look at the Huawei Mate-30-the field, with the standard phone will cost €799 (around $880 / £700 / AU$1,300), while the Huawei Mate 30 Pro costs €1,099 (around 1,200 USD / £970 / AU$1,700) So the prices may be similar for the Mate-40 range.
Huawei Mate 40 news and rumors
almost nothing is known about the Huawei Mate 40 and Mate, 40 Per, and it is no wonder, not to start with the mobile phones, probably, by the end of 2020.
We have heard a few things though. First of all, you’re likely to run on Android but without Google Play services, so that you are in a situation similar to the Huawei Mate-30-the field.
Huawei has built its own operating system, called HarmonyOS, but has not said it is not in any hurry to ditch Android for you.
It is also rumored that the Huawei Mate 40 range comes with a Kirin 1000-chip set. This chipset has not yet been announced, but according to Huawei’s headquarters, it will be the first of a 5nm process (making it smaller and more efficient than the Huawei Mate 30 chipset) and end up in the second half of the year 2020, to use with the Huawei Mate 40 the area of the first phones.
While this is only a rumor, now it is very credible, such as Huawei, a pattern of debuting new chip sets follow on the Mate series.
What we want to see
The Huawei Mate 30 and, above all, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro are great phones, but with a large error, and a number of smaller ones. Here is what the next models could be improved.
1. Full Android
Our wish list for the Huawei Mate 40 does not end with a full Android (Google Mobile Services), but he has to start.
Without this, so great is the listener in other ways it is crippled. So, we can really hope Huawei can come to an agreement with the United States, allowing the resumption of use of Google apps and services.
2. To bring back the volume-buttons
The Mate-30 Pro has some daring design decisions, including the removal of physical volume buttons. Instead, you can controls use gesture to adjust the volume, and if these work well when the display is turned on, it will not work if it is turned off.
This is a real nuisance, so for the Huawei Mate 40 the area we want to work with either physical volume buttons or gesture controls, if the display is turned off.
3. The same curves without the vignetting
This is another problem, this applies only for the Huawei Mate 30 Per, rather than the standard Mate-30, but it has a deeply curved screen, which looks great – at least most of the time.
create, Unfortunately, the curves of the screen, vignetting, that is something fixed, we would like to see for the next models. However, provided that Huawei can do, we would like to the sharp curves present on the Mate 40 and Mate 40 Per.
4. Not more notch
While the Huawei Mate 30 and especially from the Mate-a 30-Per-appearance in the General, well, both of you sports scores, Dating increasingly. So for the Huawei Mate 40 the area we want the company to be an all-screen design with no score and, ideally, no blow-hole either.
5. A sharper image
Despite its generally cutting-edge specifications with the Huawei Mate 30 Pro only “a 1176 x has” 2400 screen, while the standard Mate-30 has a similar resolution of 1080 x 2340 is.
While these are not bad resolutions, they are quite QHD, and many competitors now have QHD+ displays, so we want to see a boost of a minimum of 1440 x 2560 on the Huawei Mate 40 range.
6. A bundled stylus
The Mate-series range is in many ways a competitor of the Samsung Galaxy Note – more alternatives-each of the company main “flagship line”. However, the note area also boasts Samsung’s S Pen stylus, which is an important part of any model.
While the Huawei Mate 30 Per Huawei-M-Pen not supported, it comes with it, and the functions are more limited than with Samsung’s S Pen.
So for the Huawei Mate 40, we want the M-Pen, to a core component. It should ship with the phone, fits in a slot in the phone, and Packed full of features to help you the most out of get, which will inevitably lead to large screen.
7. A in-screen-camera
We expect in 2020 could be the year that we start seeing them in the screen, cameras in phones, and we want to be the Huawei Mate 40 (or, at least, the Huawei Mate 40 Per), to be one of them. This would not only an impressive feature in its own right, it would also help get rid of the notch, we were whining./p>
