How to voice and video calls with Alexa and Amazon Echo
If you know an Amazon Echo in your home already, how useful it can be. In addition to turning on the lights, the music is played, and whether the weather, you can also make calls with your Echo devices, and video calls—even if people that you don’t have an Echo device of its own.

How do I get a phone call with Alexa?
The first thing you need to do is enter Alexa access to your contacts. Head over to the, the Alexa app on your iPhone or Android phone and tap the call & Messaging tab in the bar at the bottom of the screen (the second icon from the left that looks like a chat bubble). If you have not yet activated, the app permission to access your contacts and register your phone number. (This is for the caller ID purposes. If you opt-out, will be given their calls as “Unknown”.)

Wif I don’t have a Echo?
you don’t actually need to make an Echo, a call from Alexa. If you open the calling & Messaging tab on the mobile app, you can call someone on your contacts list. You simply tap the name of the person you wish to call. If you see an Echo device, you, icons for voice and video calls at the top. If not, you can use by tapping on one of your other figures to Alexa Calls to a landline or mobile phone number.

How do I end a call?
