Final Fantasy 7 Remake the most hyped video game remake of all time, but so far, only PlayStation 4 owners have really been able to get excited about the game 3. March 2020, the release date. New box art for the game uploaded not shows, developers Square Enix site, that the game is really a true PS4 exclusive, or, at the very least, it will not be for ever.

“Timed exclusive until 3/3/21,” says a label on the official PlayStation-4-box-art. There is no word yet on what other platforms the game is planned, be it Xbox, PlayStation or PC. By 2021, both Microsoft and the PlayStation would have released their next-generation consoles, though.

Square Enix has;t immediately respond to a request for comment.

A Xbox One release for the game was rumored months, since the Xbox was announced in Germany in July, a 3. March 2020, the release date for the game. Square Enix officially Xbox-One-release denied, but. “We have no plans for other platforms,” a spokesman said at the time. 

Final Fantasy 7 Remake only of the first part of a multi-release reimagining of the legendary PlayStation actually game. Square Enix has said the game will be divided into several Final Fantasy 13-size-releases, but has yet to confirm how many of the parts of Final Fantasy is divided into 7 Remake. Tetsuya Nomura, the game director, has said development of part 2 has already started, however.
