As we close in on the Black Friday, this is the third time that the Nintendo Switch was the belle of the ball for the holiday shopping.

We are dizzy with the excitement, for the possibility of great deals. Nintendo released an updated Switch back in August, that increases the battery life by about 50% (from a possible Maximum of 6.5 hours to around nine hours). And there is the new Switch Lite as well as — a smaller handheld version with a 7-hour battery life.

The best Nintendo Switch-offers for Black Friday

It really is only a console/games bundle out there at the moment, but if we see more, we will add them here.  Also be sure to check out the best Nintendo Switch offerings over at GameSpot.

Nintendo is bundling a free download code for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with the first-gen version of the Switch for $300, and you throw a screen protector, as well. This is a solid thing, but be aware that you will always be the OG switch, not the new one. Because that means that your battery life will be somewhere between 2.5 and 6.5 hours, you probably want to take advantage of this offer only if you keep your master plan to it. For many missions removed, you may want to pass this and the Switch v2. Check out this CNET article that explains how to tell the difference between the two consoles by the look on the field of art. This offer starts on Nov. 28.

The Switch Lite is barely a month old, and for this reason alone, don’t hold your breath to see all the deals for Black Friday-2019. It is $200, which is everywhere right now (no waiting until Black Friday), and that is where I would expect to see the price stay until the end of the year. This is not a bad price, but, and if you are a stickler for keeping a sale at the hardware, well, you could wait until Black Friday to 2020. That is, if you’ve been on the fence sitting, now is the time to a switch, the CNET’s Scott Stein called “perhaps the best $200 gaming portable I have ever used.”
