Apple’s new Mac Pro in December
Professional Mac users have a lot of good news on Wednesday. In addition to the unveiling of the new 16-inch-MacBook Pro, Apple has announced that the Mac Pro, the company’s workhorse tower computer, starting in December of this year.
If you are Apple, would not specifically say in December. No matter, the December shipping window, then the Mac Pro was shown at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in June of this year. And it was way back in the year 2017, when the company announced that it will be a completely new design for the Mac Pro, a design that replaces the cylindrical model, which was first introduced in the year 2013.
Apple has two additional changes to the Mac Pro:
The maximum memory has increased from 4-TB-SSD-drive with 8TB of SSD.
Apple says that the Mac Pro support-playback of up to six streams of 8K ProRes RAW video. This is an increase of three streams, the company promises at WWDC, 2019.
The new Pro display XDR, which was designed to complement the new Mac Pro is also in December. The standard glass model is $4,999, while the nano-texture-glass-is model is $5,999. These do not include a Pro a TV stand or a VESA-mount adapter, sold separately.
