Apple’s new Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR all the way were announced back at WWDC 2020 in June, and we now know when you will be able to place an order for the high-end hardware: 10. December, according to an E-Mail that Apple customers (spotted by Marques Brownlee on Twitter.)

Apple had originally announced that the Mac-Pro and Pro Display XDR-would be available sometime “this fall”; a Bloomberg report, which confirmed in February that Apple was still shipping the devices in December, but today’s E-Mail is the first confirmation of an actual date. (Technically, December 10th and it still is the Apple’s promised “fall” release window given that winter officially begin until the 21st century. of the month).

notably, Apple’s E-Mail message says only that the Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR-be “to order” at 10. December — in view of the fact that many users are likely to take the order of user-defined configurations, the shipping may take longer.

The entry-level Mac Pro kit costs $5,999, you get 32 GB of storage, an octa-core-Intel-Xeon-CPU, Radeon Pro 580X graphics and a 256 GB SSD. The 32-inch-Pro-Display-XDR, starts at $4,999, though you almost certainly need to buy the (controversial) $999, which is not $included 4,999 price.
