The next Apple watch (probably a number 6) is still months away from its grand debut alongside the rumored iPhone 12, 12 Pro and 12 Pro-Max. But there are still a lot of speculation around a series of 6, smartwatch, keep us in the meantime. We have put together a compilation, a plausible and compelling new features for the Apple Watch series 6 is based on the latest leaks, rumors and Apple patents.

Design: A round Apple Watch, but not this year

Save for a few minor changes, such as larger screens, different materials and different bracelet designs, the appearance of the watch has not changed much since Apple first introduced the Apple Watch in 2014. And this year will be no different.

rumors about a round watch face on the Apple Watch were now, the rounds for a few years. Some of its Android counterparts like the Samsung Galaxy Watch have circular designs, so you don’t think it would be too far-fetched that Apple would follow. To add fuel to the fire, the company has also published a couple of patents, the Apple Watch show a round display. But so far, it is only a possibility; the existence of a patent does not guarantee, Apple used it in a product. Even if you are not these patents a reality, it would probably take years. A change this large would require Apple to the revision of the hardware and software of the watch, and so far we have heard nothing that would indicate it happened in the year 2020.

New watch face options, but no store

The Apple Watch has tons of customizable watch faces (known as “complications”), from the animated Disney characters on the weather-centric interfaces. But Apple hasthird-party watch faces, and we don’t see that changing any time soon./p>

Instead, Apple could allow the user to share watch faces. According to 9to5Mac, each dial configuration is released as a file via AirDrop. The report, which cited leaked iOS 14 of the code as a source of information, also says WatchOS 7, the next version of Apple’s smartwatch software, it is a analog speedometer, its design options, would

you can also use to be able to shared albums from your photos app, create a custom watch face that cycles through the photos in this album. This means that the family could add individual photos to the shared album for everyone in the group, the joints on your hand.

Finally, for a Patriotic user, WatchOS 7 is an “international” option can add, you can select a country flag as your watch face.

A new fitness app

Fitness, the Apple Watch is in the core since its introduction, and this year, Apple can continue it even. According to MacRumors, the company is working on a standalone fitness app. In contrast to the existing activity app tracks your progress and is already on the Apple Watch (and iPhone), this would give you guided workouts for a selection of different activities such as running, Cycling, rowing, strength training, dance and yoga.

There is no shordays of third-party fitness apps for the Apple Watch, but a native fitness app can. a lot of these out of business The app would be on the iPhone, and Apple TV, as well as the Apple Watch. And it could be free. The MacRumors report says that it will exclude any references to in-app purchases, but this must necessarily be, a subscription-based approach, as Apple’s music.

Native sleep-tracking can at last

This could finally be the year when the Apple Watch gets native sleep-tracking arrive. Since the takeover of the sleep Beddit sensor again in the year 2017, a tracker that sits under the mattress, there were rumors about the Integration of Apple’s a similar function in the Apple Watch. A “sleep app” was casually mentioned in a screenshot of Apple’s pre-installed alarm clock app in the app Store. The image was discovered by a reader of MacRumors back in October, and has been ever since. To confirm an April 30 leak on Twitter, this rumor seems to be.

Currently, the sleep-tracking is available on the Apple Watch by third-party apps, one of the biggest hurdles for Apple to offer it natively, the battery life was. The current Apple Watch models will take about a day and a half of normal use, but a fwe would be back, as this is necessary for overnight monitoring. This would probably drain the battery much faster. It is in the best interest of the company, in order to solve this Problem quickly, though; many of the Apple Watch competitors like Fitbit and Samsung had it on their devices for years.

pulse oximeter for measuring blood oxygen levels

Even if the series 6 will not sleep natively tracking, Apple is expected to continue growing health and wellness features for the next Apple Watch.

This year’s big health could be a feature, what is known as the SPO2-tracking. This would allow the watch measures the oxygen saturation in the blood, such as a pulse oximeter, and warns you if it dips below a certain threshold value, according to 9to5Mac. This is good timing, as some of the the doctors are to recommend pulse oximeter devices to monitor COVID-19-symptoms, and the purchase pulse Oximeter in the case of the Corona-Virus-pandemic. The April-30-leak-confirms this rumor as well.

The Apple Watch is already something similar with the heart rate and warns you when it detects an unusually high, low or irregular heart rhythm indicative of atrial fibrillation (afib).

to make this possible, the 6-series may require a new kind of sensor, probably a pulse oximeter. Or could it be, of being able to draw with a software update, and use the existing hardware. The Apple Watch already tracks the VO2 max, or maximal oxygen uptake) within the Activity app, with GPS and heart rate sensor during a workout.

Other health rumors include glucose and blood pressure monitoring on the next Apple watch, but this could be more.

A kid-friendly Apple Watch

The leaked iOS 14 code allegedly also references new tools for parents. Instead of giving your children an iPhone, parents looking to stay connected with their children, could be the establishment of a second Apple Watch (completely separate from you) with your iPhone and Apple ID as the host. This would also be able to the parents the last word on what content their children access on the clock as emergency contacts and music.

With a feature called ” SchoolTime in WatchOS 7, parents can determine which apps can be used to limit what times of the distractions in the classroom.

This would also mean that adapting some of the health characteristics for the younger users. According to 9 to 5 Mac, the ring system (for activity tracking) would be based on various metrics. The red ring will move, for example, would track active minutes instead of active calories as it is with adults. The clock will remain incentives to kids in motion, using virtual rewards, if you take part in sports or outdoor activities.

Tracking panic attacks and stress

to see The Apple Watch series 6, allegedly with several mental-health-monitoring functions, including the ability, when the carrier is in a panic attacks (more modern feature if it’s going well, during the global pandemic). This rumor was also mentioned in the April 30 leak, referred to “Mental health anomalies detection.
