Apple ‘ s iPhone 11 battery housing has a dedicated camera button – Engadget
Apple has new versions of its Smart-battery cases for the latest iPhones, but this time, there is a better reason to buy than the additional longevity. His newly released cases for the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro-Max, all have a dedicated camera button start the camera app, take a photo or (if you keep it) Videos. The concept of a camera button on an iPhone case is certainly not new, but this is an official way-and it is hard to find, a case that also extends its battery.
Apple is not too specific about the battery life claims for each case. Regardless of the iPhone you have, the longer life of the battery advertises up to 50 percent in a non-stop video playback test. Your experience is likely to vary, if you are more interested in other tasks. With said that the iPhone 11 series has already been living a healthy battery, that might not be enough to you through a weekend, when particularly demanding.
The trio supports wireless charging and top-up quickly, if you have a USB-PD cable (like the 18W charger included with the iPhone 11 Pro).
cases for all three models cost $129, and are available in black, white and (for the 11 Pro/Pro Max) pink. This makes them more expensive than the options, like Mophie’s $Access 80 Juice Pack, and they cover the phone’s built-in Lightning connector, in which the options such as Mophie’s have access to both. Some of the modern alternatives to dedicated camera buttons, though, and Apple is undoubtedly counting on to win an iOS-native battery meter, and the official status.
