The MacBook Pro would be the consequences to a later date in Q4, similar to the timing of the current 16-inch MacBook Pro at the Start. Moreover, Kuo expects that Apple will the release more Mini-LED hardware in the next two to three years.
According to Kuo, Apple is interested in Mini-LED panels that are specifically about OLED for the larger devices, they offer similar advantages, such as localized dimming, a wide color spectrum and high contrast and dynamic range, without the disadvantages — namely, the OLED burn-in, what could be a special challenge for the static image elements such as the dock and the menu bar on macOS.
