6 smart ways to manage your Inbox and E-Mail overload

As a busy entrepreneur, here are a few tactics that I use to streamline my E-Mail and save large blocks of time.

1. The one-minute rule

E-Mail so much time, and it is easy to procrastinate to. So I led a one-minute rule: if a message requires only a sentence, or even a single word as an answer, I answer it immediately. Otherwise, I’m reporting this via E-care Mail as something, when I have more time.

2. You silence your phone

4. Set it and forget it

Microsoft Office and Gmail have special features to organize your E-Mail. With Gmail you can create labels; this works the same as in the folders of the majority of the E-Mails you receive, categorize, such as press releases, invoices, and messages from important business partners, or news from the Department heads.

you create a label in Gmail:

1. Click on the gear icon, and click settings.
2. Go to the labels tab.
3. Find and click on New label.4. Name the label.
5. Click Create.

The labels show up on the left of the reading pane of the Inbox. Now you can manually move emails in the right place Here’s how:

1. The opening of the message.
2. Click on the name icon above the message (it looks like a day).
3. The examination of each label want to add, or type a new name.

you can also automate the process:

1. Click the Cursor in the search E-Mail-Box, and a drop-down form is displayed.
2. Insert the criteria for your label/folder.
3. Click on the filter to Create this search.
4. Apply the label by clicking the Select “caption” drop-down menu.
5. Click on the filter Create save to.

If you are using Microsoft Outlook, is the easiest thing to do, create folder. Then, as you receive E-Mails, you can manually drag them into the appropriate folder, and the star important messages within a particular category. Or, you can create rules to have mail automatically in the correct folder.

5. Other methods of communication

E-Mail is ideal for the transmission of in-depth, thought-out messages. But sometimes you need to have an actual conversation, and waits for a response precious time can burn. In my own office, we use Google Hangouts for communication between the workstations, but there are numerous other methods for quick communication, to Streamline the Skype-to-Skype Messenger.

While E-Mail is our knee-jerk reaction that we often forget that an actual call may also be the most effective of all.

Remember this. If the E-Mail longer than two paragraphs, it is likely to be, guaranteed, a call. And I have a rule with my team. If I ask you to do something, if you have completed the task, everything I need is Done in a one-word answer:.

6. Sync devices

This is important if you are trying to access to your account by a third party such as Thunderbird, or the native Mail app on an iPhone. It is much easier to set-up with the official Gmail app comes pre-installed on Android phones available for iOS in the Apple App Store.

If you use Microsoft Outlook at work, and the mailbox you wish to sync to your company’s Exchange server, it is best to use the devices in their IT Department. They can provide you with the domain name and other information you will need to set up the mailbox on other devices

And while you are there, you tell your IT Department you will be appreciated. You keep all of your E-Mail flow, so you can get your work done.
